Home, tucked up in bed.

Sitting in bed, drinking wine, eating vanilla Oreos, and alternately reading about Steve Jobs and Jenna McCarthy’s “If It Was Easy, They’d Call the Whole Damn Thing a Honeymoon: Livng With the TV-Addicted, Sex-Obsessed, Not-So-Handy Man You Married.

Disclosure: I warned Guy that if I cracked this book open I would likely spend half the night reading aloud to him. It’s 12:19am; I rest my case. Sorry, Mr. jobs. Given the circumstances, Jenna is a wee bit funnier at the moment and I am not quite ready to confront the demise of the man who has made my professional life (or at least the execution of such) as easy as it has been fun.

Jenna had both of us at Zestra. (Watch the trailer and STICK AROUND FOR THE OUTTAKES.)

I’m loving the copy she sent (thanks babe! Oh and in case you weren’t aware, your people sent me a copy.) It has the distinction of being the first paper book I’ve picked up in ages; I’ve read about 200 books on my iPad, but for you, I will touch paper and turn actual pages. Also, I have a secret for you but I can’t tell you here. Write to me, sister!

Fading fast, will snuggle up for last night alone til our kids come home. Five days is about the limit for us to be away.

Maui was wonderful, but It’s good to be home where we belong. Most pics have been on Facebook I’ll post some here too. Not everyday you get to hang with penguins and puffins on the way to the breakfast buffet.

Welcome back! The puffins, penguins, and Maoris made it look like you were jet-setting the South Pacific. Officially jealous. Especially on a rainy, cold morning. With leaves to rake and a sprained knee. Now I want that book, if only to feel like I have some sistah company.
